She laughed and said “I don’t think anyone knows what to do with me…”

I had a client come in the other day, a woman who I have worked with on and off for a few years, who is a service provider with her own business.  She was feeling completely disconnected, she couldn’t access her emotions.. felt numb.. flat – like something had switched off inside her. She said she didn’t feel bad exactly, but just couldn’t feel much at all. And no matter what she tried, nothing was changing.

She’d been doing the work – traditional therapy, inner child healing, energy sessions, journaling, meditation – everything. She was doing everything “right,” but still felt stuck. And you could see and hear it was really wearing her down.

At one point early in the session, she sighed and said,

“Honestly, I don’t think anyone knows what to do with me.”

She said it with this kind of half laugh, like she was trying to make light of it… but I could feel the weight of it. The years behind that sentence, the disappointment, sadness and grief.. The wondering if she’s just too complicated, too much, or maybe just not the kind of person healing works for, or more likely that she just hadn’t found the “thing” yet, the deep dark thing that was causing all the problems.

I said to her “That’s okay, you’re ok, you’re not broken or wrong.. let’s see what your energy wants to show us.”

We grounded through her Earth Star Chakra, opened the Soul Star, and called in her support team. Straight away, the energy coming through was big. And not in a dramatic or chaotic way – it was just expansive. Like this soul who spans across timelines, lifetimes, realms. Deeply spiritual, deeply connected… but weighed down by trying to shrink all of that into something other people could understand, something even she could understand..

That was the first piece:
She wasn’t stuck because she hadn’t done enough healing.
She was stuck because she’d been trying to be understandable.. palatable.. easier for others..

As we moved through the session, more beliefs started bubbling up.

First it was:
“Nobody wants to book in with me.”
Then:
“Nobody really understands what I do or why it would help.”
Then it turned into:
“Maybe I don’t even know what I do.”
And finally:
“I don’t know how to talk about it in a way that makes sense.”

It was like peeling back layers. All of them circling around this idea that her work – and she by extension, was just… too hard to grasp.

And then we landed on the real one underneath it all:
“Nobody knows what they’re doing with me.”

That one didn’t just come from clients or business stuff. It went way back.
To being a child who wasn’t met properly..
To adults who were overwhelmed by her depth..
To practitioners who couldn’t hold her energy..
To three years of her life when she was put on the wrong medication, and just felt totally out of sync with herself and the world..

It wasn’t that she was broken, it was that nobody around her knew how to hold the kind of soul she is.

And when that belief is left running for too long, it starts to feel like truth.

If nobody knows what to do with me, maybe I’m the problem.
Maybe I don’t even know what to do with me either.
Maybe I’m just… too much..

So that’s where we focused. We worked with that belief directly.
I asked for every piece of energy connected to that belief – every experience, every moment it was reinforced, every time she felt unsupported – to come forward. And we held it.. She spoke to it, witnessed it, let it be seen so it could finally shift.

We didn’t try to fix it.
We didn’t try to reframe it.
We just let her body speak, let her energy guide it, let the emotions move.

And as it cleared, she could feel the shift..

She reconnected back to her Spirit, back to Earth.
Back to the truth that she’s never actually been alone – she’d just been looking through the lens of old experiences that said she was.

By the end of the session, she looked lighter.. though not everything was fixed – she knew she wasn’t perfectly clear on every detail of her path – but felt more herself. She said she could finally breathe, that something felt quieter inside.

And that is what healing often looks like – not releasing those parts you don’t like, but being with them, witnessing them, letting them be heard and seen, and then integrating it all.  Bringing more of you home to the whole of you at the soul level, feeling more you..

So if you’ve ever felt like no one knows what to do with you… like you’re too much, or too complicated, or beyond help – you’re not..

You might just need a space that’s big enough to hold all of you.

And that’s what I do.. If you want to find out more about what I do, you can click here.
